I’ve never been one who plans, or even gets excited about taking images of a waterfall. What usually goes through my mind when someone mentions waterfall photography is; water falling over rocks into a pool with lots of dead fall, tourists ignoring warning signs and fences; because instagram is far more important than the preservation of nature or even your life, rubbish in some cases and in the worst cases graffiti. Sort of hard to ignore when you do photography to capture the beauty of nature. However if forced by to the weather conditions or opportunity I'll quickly change my mind.
