Forests or woodland is fast becoming one of my favourite photography subjects. I am spending an increasing portion of my photography time either in them or planning to go back to a location when the conditions make the forest come alive.

At the moment my effort is greater than the reward, but with time and persistence this will change. I enjoy the silence and mood of a forest and regularly stop to take in the experience. Each forest feels, sounds and smells different.
